Jeremy Edwards grew up in Washington, D.C. and attended St. Albans School. He went on to graduate from Haverford College where he played baseball, captained the basketball team and eventually coached. Jeremy later led a professional European basketball club, the Cardiff Clippers, to Welsh and English League Championships. While in the UK, Jeremy coached the men's team at Cardiff University, the women's team at the University of Wales and the Welsh Junior National Team. Jeremy went on to earn a Masters degree from Stanford University's School of Education. He taught, coached and served as the Dean of Students at the Edmund Burke School (DC) where he worked for 14 years. In 1996, Jeremy co-founded the SportsChallenge Leadership and Education Alliance. Jeremy has facilitated over 100 leadership and coaching workshops throughout the country for SportsChallenge and the Stanford University based Positive Coaching Alliance. Additionally, he has presented at local conferences for the Association of Maryland Independent Schools and Landon's Conference on Ethics and Leadership as well as at national conferences for the American Association for University Women, Up2Us, the Urban Soccer Collaborative and the Independent School Health Association. Jeremy has been the Executive Director of SportsChallenge since 2007.
